Dunfield Development Services  offers contract services in the area of embedded systems software/firmware development.

We at DDS have plenty of experience working with small systems, and low-level systems software. Although we are best known for our line of embedded systems development tools, we have been doing embedded systems design for a much longer period of time. All of our development tools were originally designed for our own in-house use, and became products only after we came to realize that other people wanted them too!

All contract development work is performed by or managed and reviewed by Dave Dunfield, the founder of the company. Dave has over 20 years of experience in embedded systems software design, which, coupled with his strong hardware background, enables him to work with your hardware designers to produce optimal hardware/software solutions.  Dave was selected by Circuit Cellar Magazine, as a judge in their Design 2K Contest.  

We have experience with many micro-controller systems, including all of the families for which we offer development tools (6800, 6801/6803, 6805, 6502,68HC08, 6809, 68HC11, 68HC12, 68HC16, 8051/52, 80C320, 8080/85, 8086, 8096,Z80, AVR and our own C-FLEA), as well as several of other families, and many derivatives. We also learn fast, and are not afraid to take on a new processor or system. If it runs code, we can design software for it!
